
Tuyet Brown is a licensed independent clinician with a Master's Degree in Social Work from the Simmons College Graduate School (Boston, Massachusetts, USA). She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (U.S.)
Prior to moving to Hanoi, Vietnam, Tuyet Brown worked in Santa Monica, California, USA. She specialized in working with battle-related post traumatic stress disorder patient population at the West LAVA Medical Center, as well as victims of rape (forensic-rape, date-rape) and incest with PTSD symptoms.
In her Hanoi practice, Ms Brown works in particular with individuals and families who are experiencing cross-cultural adjustment issues, depression, substance dependency & abuse, and schizophrenia. She designs and teaches counseling & living skills to providers working with HIV/AIDS, the sexually abused and sex workers.
She is fluent in English, Vietnamese, and is familiar with Japanese & French.
